AHA: Many Americans don't know how to perform CPR - Fox 2 News Headlines: "The fact is many people could not and would not be able to do CPR if someone's life were on the line.
"Anyone can really do it," said Dr. Dipak Shah with Providence-St. John Health.  "I think that's the important message to get out."
According to the American Heart Association, 70 percent of Americans either don't know or have forgotten how to do CPR.  Since 88 percent of the hundreds of thousands of out of hospital cardiac arrests happen at home, that is costing lives."
